SUMMARY:Rogue River Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Join Nomad Anglers\, Trout Unlimited\, Rogue River Watershed Partners\, Kent Power Inc\, Great Lakes Fly Fishing Company\, and other local partners as we get together to take care of the Rogue River with a trash cleanup after a busy spring and summer of river recreation. Volunteers will gather at Kent Power Inc on Childsdale and then be assigned to river sections and wade through the river to pick up trash. Please bring waders or water shoes. Not suitable for young children. Join us for an after party at Rockford Brewing Company! \nWe are in need of section leaders to coordinate car spots\, if you are interested in being a group leader\, please send an email to justin@nomadanglers.com

Just show up and shoot the breeze.\n\n  \nABOUT CHRIS WOOD\nBefore coming to Trout Unlimited in September 2001\, Chris Wood served as the senior policy and communications advisor to the Chief of the U.S. Forest Service where he helped protect 58 million acres of publicly owned land. Chris began his career as a temporary employee with the Forest Service in Idaho and also worked for the Fish and Wildlife program of the Bureau of Land Management. He is the author and co-author of numerous papers and articles and three books including\, Watershed Restoration: Principles and Practices (AFS 1997)\, From Conquest to Conservation: Our Public Land Legacy (Island Press\, 2003)\, and My Healthy Stream: A handbook for streamside owners (Trout Unlimited and Aldo Leopold Foundation\, 2013).
