DESCRIPTION:Join SWMTU for an update on the State of the Trout in West Michigan on Monday\, February 7\, 2022. Our guest speakers will be DNR Director Dan Eichinger and Michigan Trout Unlimited Executive Director Dr. Bryan Burroughs. Both speakers addressed the chapter last year via a virtual meeting\, and we’re glad to get them in person this year. \n \nThis in-person event will be held at Creston Brewery in the second-floor space. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for socializing. The event will feature a tasty taco bar that begins at 7:00 p.m. \nThe event will feature some door prizes and a raffle. \nFebruary 4\, 2022 — Tickets are no longer available online. However\, if you would like to attend\, please contact Lance Climie at lanceclimie@hotmail.com.\nTickets for this event are $25 and that includes your taco bar meal. We highly encourage you to purchase tickets in advance using the form further down this page. Your advance ticket purchase greatly helps us plan for the event. Chris began his career as a temporary employee with the Forest Service in Idaho and also worked for the Fish and Wildlife program of the Bureau of Land Management. He is the author and co-author of numerous papers and articles and three books including\, Watershed Restoration: Principles and Practices (AFS 1997)\, From Conquest to Conservation: Our Public Land Legacy (Island Press\, 2003)\, and My Healthy Stream: A handbook for streamside owners (Trout Unlimited and Aldo Leopold Foundation\, 2013).
