The Coldwater River Watershed Council and water resource partners invite the public to celebrate our wonderful trout stream. Help the volunteers who monitor its condition and delight in the plants and animals that it supports.
May 3rd, 2008 9am-5pm Freeport MI
Lunch will be provided for Garlic mustard, river clean-up, rain garden installation and Tyler Creek restoration volunteers at 1 pm at the Freeport Community Center.
Morning events start at 9 sharp!
Donations will be accepted from attending public to help with food and building costs.
Come see what your river does for the community and the surrounding watershed!

Garlic Mustard Removal (Dolan Natural Area) Baker Rd 9am
Tyler Creek Stream Restoration (100th Street Bridge) 9am
Riverbank cleanup (M43 to Baker Rd) 9am at community center
Raingarden Installation: Coldwater Park (Morse Lake Rd and 100th)
Demonstrations: 1pm-5pm Fly Tying
Flycasting Instruction and Casting Games
