Insect Monitoring Data: Rogue River Watershed

Insect Survey, courtesy Nichol DeMol

As part of the Rogue River Home Rivers Initiative, insect monitoring data has been collected regularly in the Rogue River watershed since 2011.

This data shows the occurrence of about 25 in-stream insects that are classified as sensitive, somewhat sensitive, and tolerant to water quality. The occurrence is graded as common, rare, and absent.

Five different locations are surveyed with the help of volunteers.
