SWMTU and national Trout Unlimited in Michigan are placing extra focus on the White River. That means coordinating stakeholders, conducting monitoring efforts, and implementing projects in the watershed.

In this webinar from March 16, 2022, TU’s Jake Lemon shows us the data available on the White River, and where the gaps are. They’re tracking things like water temperature, stream crossings, and woody debris.

We also cover the restoration efforts that are completed and contemplated. This includes trimming and moving logs in the water, identifying road crossings that need better fish passage, and the economic and social impacts in the watershed.
