Schrems West Michigan Trout Unlimited is proud to support and volunteer with the annual Reel Recovery Retreat for men living with cancer at Ranch Rudolf, south of Traverse City. Reel Recovery is a national non-profit organization that conducts free fly fishing retreats for men recovering from all forms of cancer.

Retreats are conducted over a 2 1/2 day period, and include all meals, lodging, and fly fishing equipment. Retreats are led by professional facilitators and fly fishing instructors. Events include fly fishing instruction and fishing, along with “courageous conversation” sessions to foster communication and sharing of life stories.

No fly fishing experience is needed. This year’s retreat will be Tuesday, June 14 – Thursday, June 16, 2022.
