After the holidays the winter months seem to drag on! Why not break up the winter boredom and attend some upcoming workshops and help with insect sampling. These events are being held as part of the Rogue River Home Rivers Initiative Project in partnership with the Michigan Trout Unlimited River Keepers Program.
Training for Watershed Monitors
Purpose: Training volunteers to collect temperature and flow data in the watershed for incorporation in the State of Michigan Groundwater Model.

Purpose: Training participants to identify aquatic insects and learn how the insects can be used as indicators of water quality. Participants will be able to lead a group of volunteers to monitor sites for insects in the spring and fall (see events below).
