WHITE RIVER – On Saturday, May 14, 2022, there will be a river cleanup day on the White River. To date Schrems has 46 volunteers signed up to help with the project. If you are interested in helping, please sign up here.

BUCK CREEK – the annual cleanup date will be Saturday, August 13, 2022.

PRAIRIE CREEK – the removal of log jams is a big consideration for Prairie Creek. A fishing shocking study will be conducted by Michigan Trout Unlimited this summer. Also planned is the placement of 15 temperature loggers to obtain further information.

Women on the Water event

This event will be held at the Pere Marquette River Lodge in Baldwin, Michigan July 8-10, 2022. Further information about the event and fees can be found on the chapter website. There are still several openings available.

Wa Wa Sum weekend

The chapter’s annual weekend at the Wa Wa Sum Lodge near Grayling will be Thursday, June 23 – Sunday, June 26, 2022. There are still a number of openings if you are interested.

Cast n’ Blast

This annual event in partnership with the Ruffed Grouse Society will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at the Kent County Conservation League. Details and cost can be found on the chapter’s website.

2023 Fundraising Banquet

Mark your calendars, the chapter’s annual fundraising banquet will be Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the Watermark Country Club.
