Dick Smith passes away
Dick Smith, who was a long-time supporter of Schrems West Michigan TU, passed away on October 12, 2019 at the age of 76 after a long battle with cancer.
Big portion of Coldwater River improved for trout habitat
About 20 logjams were modified on the Coldwater River to provide better fish cover, stabilize banks, and open new spawning beds.
2019 State of the Trout
SWMTU will have its third annual "State of the Trout" seminar in October featuring Michigan TU Executive Director Dr. Bryan Burroughs with a statewide update.
