Some recent tree removal and bank destabilization has occurred on the Coldwater River, upstream of Freeport. A public meeting will be held Thursday, April 16.
GVSU to study brook trout in Cedar Creek
A telemetry study will tag trout and allow researchers to determine where water temperatures are best for brook trout.
Chapter members weekend at the Wa Wa Sum lodge set for June 18-21, 2015
We are now taking reservations for our annual membership outing at the Wa Wa Sum Lodge. The lodge is located on the banks of the Main Stream of the Au Sable's fabled "holy waters," just east of Grayling, Michigan.
Angler input sought to develop statewide inland trout management plan
The DNR plans to use the information to assist in the development of a statewide plan for inland trout fisheries.
