SWMTU is involved in a project on Buck Creek to monitor the creek to help determine management plans as a trout stream. MLive has a good summary of the project, and you can read it here. We posted about the project in length back in October 2017, and you can read the full report.

Trout magazine features Rogue River Home Rivers Initiative
In the Winter issue of Trout Magazine, author Dave Karczynski featured three coldwater projects that could face elimination if the presidential budget cuts funding for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. One of those projects is the Rogue River Home Rivers Initiative headed by our own Nichol DeMol.
